● The screen-free audio platform for kids aligns with Soccer Aid for UNICEF’s mission to engage and entertain children and families nationwide.
● As an Official Partner, Yoto will be integrated into the Soccer Aid for UNICEF’s campaign with exciting activations and content creation opportunities, featuring some of this year’s players.
Soccer Aid for UNICEF partners with Yoto, the award-winning, screen-free audio platform designed for kids, spanning audiobook, music, radio, sound effects, activities and podcasts.
As a UK brand dedicated to inspiring and entertaining children through the power of audio, Yoto is the perfect partner for Soccer Aid for UNICEF as they both share a mission of engaging families and creating unforgettable experiences.
As an Official Partner, Yoto and Soccer Aid for UNICEF will collaborate on a wide range of exciting activations throughout the campaign. In particular, Yoto and Soccer Aid for UNICEF, alongside the talent involved, will create exciting audio content that brings the magic of Soccer Aid for UNICEF to life.
This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to delivering quality entertainment for families to enjoy.
Since 2006 – when UNICEF UK Ambassador Robbie Williams co-founded the concept – Soccer Aid for UNICEF has raised over £106 million, supporting UNICEF’s vital work worldwide.
This year’s game will take place at Old Trafford, home of Manchester United, on Sunday, 15th June. Seven players make their debuts this year, including Joe Hart, Leonardo Bonucci, Toni Duggan, Nadia Nadim, and Steph Houghton.
Tickets for the game are on sale now via socceraid.org.uk/tickets, with a family of four able to attend for just £60 – two adults and two children. Tickets include access to a pre-game ‘Fan Zone’ and ‘Player Arrivals Area’.
Jon Kell, VP of Marketing at Yoto, commented: “Soccer Aid for UNICEF is an event that the whole nation looks forward to each year, not only raising funds and awareness for truly impactful global charity work but also capturing the fun, excitement and community spirit that sits at the heart of the beautiful game. We can’t wait to dust off our boots and join the players in creating some unforgettable audio content that we hope will both entertain and inspire families to get involved and tune in.”
Tom Peacock, Head of Partnership Generation at Soccer Aid Productions, said:
“We are delighted to have Yoto on board with us for this year’s event as we collaborate to bring Soccer Aid for UNICEF to life in a whole new way. Yoto is all about empowering and inspiring children from all different backgrounds through world-class audio content. One of Soccer Aid for UNICEF’s main aims is to provide support to children around the world and help them to grow up safe, healthy and able to play. This is an ethos which we feel aligns perfectly with Yoto’s mission to spark children’s imagination and curiosity. The partnership will see this year’s players creating unique content for Yoto families to listen to and immerse them in the true experience of this year’s Soccer Aid for UNICEF. We’re excited to give children and their families even more ways to connect and engage with us”
