The playground challenge

Playground Challenge is Postponed

Due to the outbreak of coronavirus and the closure of schools across the UK, we have taken the tough decision to postpone the Soccer Aid for Unicef Playground Challenge. Later this year thousands of schools will come together to play, fundraise and change children’s lives.

We are committed to rearranging the Playground Challenge later in the year to raise vital funds to help children everywhere grow up happy, healthy and able to play.

“The kids absolutely loved it”

“The Playground Challenge is such a fantastic opportunity for us to get our pupils outside, have a run around, and remind us all how important it is for children to be able to play.

The kids absolutely loved it and, as a member of staff, I loved seeing our students engaged in something meaningful.

We are so proud they could be involved in raising money for children all over the world.”

Langtons Junior Academy take on their Playground Challenge in June 2019.

Play, fundraise and change children's lives at your school.

“I like to play with toy horses, elephants and tigers.”

Brothers Ayas, 5, and Younus, 9, were forced to leave their home in Myanmar when conflict erupted. Their parents were killed by soldiers and their lives were turned upside down.

They now live in the Balukhali refugee camp. Their favourite place is Unicef’s child friendly space where they play football, play with toys and have lessons. Your fundraising could help provide toys, books and games for children like Ayas and Younus.

Your school can help make sure more children have a childhood full of play, learning and laughter.

Your Playground Challenge will make sure children like Ayas and Younus have the childhood they are entitled to.
